Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator works with our internal Operations Team to support the OmniClaim audit process. This position will coordinate with internal stakeholders and hospitals nationwide to ensure that all required items and actions are in place for a successful audit. The Project Coordinator will leverage electronic and telephone communication, as well as OmniClaim’s proprietary in-house software systems, to ensure patient records are collected, audits are scheduled, and our auditors are prepared to perform audits for our clients. This position is a relationship steward; to be successful the Project Coordinator will build strong, positive relationships with hospitals, OmniClaim auditors, and OmniClaim clients.

 

  • Communicate with hospitals, OmniClaim auditors, and OmniClaim clients to ensure smooth operations of the audit process
  • Build and manage relationships with hospital facilities and staff; use of soft skills and superior communication to leverage these relationships in efforts to smooth the audit operation process
  • Work with and manage OmniClaim’s selected medical claims, assigning it to our team of auditors in a way that is logical, efficient, and maximizes potential savings for our clients.
  • Conduct follow-up audit activities as needed, including outreach to facilitate the collection of medical records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Healthcare and/or insurance industry knowledge/experience preferred 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, must be able to build relationships quickly and work as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Key stakeholders are nationwide; comfort and skill using the telephone as a primary mode of communication is required.
  • Must demonstrate adaptability and savvy while navigating a small, matrixed organization.
  • Comfortable operating in an analytic capacity; ability to solve problems with several dependencies.
  • Willingness to laugh and contribute to a collegial work environment.
