Overview

In this role, the Program Coordinator performs general administrative duties and is directly responsible for serving as the main point of contact for the post audit team. This position will coordinate with internal stakeholders, hospitals nationwide, and OmniClaim clients to ensure that all workflows associated with the audit process are completed. The Program Coordinator is an operational maven and plays a pivotal role in moving our audits to completion, and by so doing, locking in savings for our clients and revenue for OmniClaim.

 

The Program Coordinator is a relationship builder and will engage with hospitals and medical facilities through various modes of communication (electronic, written, telephone, etc.). Working as part of a high-energy team, this position will continually push to close OmniClaim audits efficiently and quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Provides proofing support on claims submittals to double check totals, verbiage, calculations or general accuracy prior to client submission.
  • Obtains data files and generates reports for audits by extracting data from downloads and/or imported data files as requested by auditor.
  • Leverages in-house proprietary software platform and alerts manager of system issues or other issues impacting productivity.
  • Facilitates responses to general inquiries and data requests from both internal and external customer and works closely with payers and providers to understand claims and expedite effective communication and collection.
  • Accountable for day-to-day tasks associated with A/R outstanding claims, including: following-up on unpaid claims and reviewing accounts on a regular basis.
  • Adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations and maintains strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, billing or A/R experience preferred.
  • Healthcare and/or insurance industry knowledge/experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, must be able to build relationships quickly and work as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verb Key stakeholders are nationwide; comfort and skill using the telephone as a primary mode of communication is required.
  • Must demonstrate adaptability and savvy while navigating a small, matrixed organization.
  • Comfortable operating in an analytic capacity; ability to solve problems with several depend.
  • Willingness to laugh and contribute to a collegial work environment.
